The uncertain future evokes confusion and disorientation. The virtues of the past and the memories become a safe shelter from the anxieties of the present.
Tracks and stratifications, traces of memory still visible on crumbling walls, on old advertisements and banners, all these elements bring back with a sense of nostalgia a world that we have only experienced through magazines, TV and old pictures.
The power of old bonds and virtues creates a link between the hic et nunc, establishing a coloured glass that describes the faces and the stories of the present. Poeple are always changing but there are some attachments that are too strong to be replaced, such as the family and the places where happy memories have occurred. Art history reveals itself as a inspiration in order to understand the present . The past becomes a useful instrument in order to criticize our society.
