In 2014, Paratissima started an internationalisation project aimed at promoting similar events abroad. The first one was Paratissima Skopje, in the capital of the Republic of Macedonia, which celebrated last June its two-year-activity with significant participation and success.
From June 10th to 12th, Skopje’s Youth Cultural Center hosted the event, where 25 nations met through the works of 107 artists, which were exhibited in the specific area prepared by an exceptional curator: Jovanka Popova
Among the participants, international personalities like The Foltin, performers like Vittoria De Ferrari Sapetto, professionals and young talents like the italian dj’s DeeLorean, who entertained 6000 people for three days. Among 107 enrolled artists, 12 were selected to exhibit their works at Torino Esposizioni, from November 2nd to 6th for the 12th edition of Paratissima.
Inside the Skopje section, the works of a Macedonian artist, sponsored by the Italian- Macedonian Association Il Ponte di Pietra in Canelli, will appear; the association aims at promoting budding Macedonian art in Italy.
